In The Details | Dream Closet

This last year, I delved into a number of different projects that brought me great joy and taught me patience. Some were small, while others were quite the undertaking. There is one project in particular that I am ecstatic to share today that truly was a labor of love. If you have ever had construction at your. home, you know what I mean!

Before getting into it, I want to give a quick shoutout to my creative genius of a friend and interior designer, Anthony Saracino. With his help and design expertise, this project was executed in the most beautiful way.

You are probably asking yourself “What is this space?” and to no further delay, it is no other then my newly renovated closet. This space has taken time, but now it feels like my own private shopping experience rather than just a mere closet space. We spent countless hours mapping out the overall layout, what items would go where, the wallpaper, the lighting, and overall mood.

This closet is not only a space for my clothing, shoes, and accessories, but rather a sanctuary for me to relax, spend time with friends, and get inspired. Read more below.

Everything has its place

Every corner of this space was mapped and planned out to a T, right down to the champagne bucket arrangement and marble shot glasses, which are housed neatly in their own section.

The More Natural Light, The Better

When I first moved into my home, I was instantly enamored by the design pieces that paid homage to Old Hollywood glam. The elegant balcony was one of the main reasons I chose this specific room as my closet space. When you walk into the closet for the first time, you are met with gorgeous, beaming - yet diffused through the trees - sunlight that is all thanks to the balcony and its broad windows.

Never does a closet not need a champagne tank and beautiful found objects. Anthony, you have a way of taking my favorite pieces and featuring them to reflect the energy I want from a space. My favorite from this is my KMD champagne tank.

Special Pieces For No Ordinary Moments

Every piece in my closet (and home) has a story. My belongings hold moments of inspiration, memories with friends and family, and moments filled with love and life. Being able to put these pieces on display in one beautiful space makes me feel blessed.

Below is a complete list of the brands that we used for the decor, furniture, and detailed accents.
