If you know me, you know that Aspen is my true home away from home. Any chance I get to travel to this beautiful spot I am instantly happy and grateful beyond belief.

Aspen is a little slice of heaven that makes my heart feel whole. Luckily enough, I got to travel there last fall and had the most wonderful time. I wanted to share some of my favorite moments while I was there and where I would recommend going if you ever visit.

Where to Eat

  • Spring Cafe - fantastic breakfast, make sure you share a dish because they are extremely large

  • Clark’s Oyster Bar - must order the Octopus and Butter Lettuce salad, but everything is really off the charts. Delicious for lunch/dinner or both!

  • French Alpine Bistro - ambience and food are A+, be sure to always do the cheese fondu

  • Matsuhisa- definitely make reservations in advance

  • Woody Creek Tavern - a must go-to spot, no matter what the season is. Stop in for lunch after a hike/bike ride

  • The Little Nell Outdoor - MUST have the tomato soup with the most delectable grilled cheese sandwich and a glass of wine

  • Wild Fig- enjoy a romantic date night dinner here, get the mushroom risotto

  • Jings- the kale truffle fried rice and signature lobster dish are amazing

  • Meat & Cheese- great for lunch and dinner, offers a variety of vegetarian daily specials

  • Local Coffee House- a must hit every day for breakfast and coffee
