Fall Favorites
As the summer season starts to come to an end, I have started gearing my favorites towards the fall season. Even though it is still hot and humid outside, my mind is mentally preparing for cooler weather, fall foliage and the next best skincare products. Come along with me as I go through my fall favorites of 2020!
Cook Beautiful by Athena Calderone
If you have followed me for awhile, you probably saw me make my favorite summer salad which also comes from this cookbook. Athena (aka @eyeswoon on Instagram) is the master behind ‘Cook Beautiful’ and creates the most beautiful and healthy dishes with so much love and integrity. I am constantly inspired by Athena’s grace and patience with herself and her career and truly have come to love cooking more because of her and her book!
Horse Riding & Riding Gear
As you probably know, I am a huge horse lover and have recently been getting back into horseback riding lessons! Through my lessons, I have been blessed with an adopted horse name Zita and throughout the week, I go to the stables and ride with her! My love for horses stemmed from when I was very young and I truly believe that horses are some of the most magical creatures on this planet. Being able to ride with Zita has been an absolute blessing through this pandemic as it has gotten me out of the house and within nature! Aside from being able to connect with beautiful horses, I also love being able to shop for riding gear! I always try and get the best helmet, boots and pads so that Zita and I are safe and happy as we ride together! A few of my favorite riding brands recently have been Ariat, ELLA, and Equis Boutique! Another makeup brand that I have been loving recently is the uber popular brand, Glossier. It took me some time to warm up to their minimal style, but I have learned to love their products, especially their cloud paint! Like Flesh, Glossier prides itself on being a brand that aims to enhance your natural beauty, not distract from it! Their cloud paint is hands down the best cream blush I have ever put on my face and it always looks so natural! Gone are the days where I would pack on a powder blush and bronzer to look flushed and sun-kissed. Now, I just mix Dusk and Beam together to create the perfect dewy look that’s perfect for any time of the day!
One of the more positive things that has happened this past year was the creation of my very own podcast. I am a very ambitious person and have always wanted to create my own show that goes over my favorite topics such as travel, business and healthy living! Those are just a few of my favorites of the fall season and will gradually add to this list as the winter season progresses. I am constantly trying, loving, and adding new things to my everyday life and I hope that you can add a few of these as well!
