My Playlist for Summer
Music is one of my favorite forms of art to enjoy and indulge in. It keeps me feeling inspired and seems to always put me in a good mood. I find the best times for me to tune out of the busy world and tune into some music is when I’m riding horses, doing my daily walks, and going on road trips. Sometimes, the white noise of the city can make it difficult to be present in my thoughts and intentions, so pulling out my headphones to listen to a good tune helps me refocus and recenter. On my most recent trip to Aspen, I made it a goal to go outside and walk around the beautiful town. Whether I walked for 15 minutes or 40 minutes, it felt so amazing to breathe the fresh air and bask in the nature around me. Listening to music while going on these walks brought so much more joy and clarity.
I wanted to share some of my favorite songs for you to enjoy this summer. Some are classics that I go back to year after year and some are new releases that I can’t stop singing and dancing along to. There’s something for everyone— pop or country, slow or upbeat, and an overall great vibe! The perfect playlist to blast in the car, listen to while on a stroll, and have in the background of your next summer barbeque. I hope you enjoy and if you ever want to share any of your current music favorites, be sure to DM me on my Instagram.
