A Day in Beverly Hills & Hollywood

There’s nothing like spending a day in Hollywood and Beverly Hills! The sites, the sounds…everything is so elegant and still holds an old charm to it. Here is my guide to a perfect day in Hollywood and Beverly Hills!

Morning

Start your day with a hike at Griffith Park where you can catch amazing views of the city, mountains, Hollywood sign, and on a clear day – the ocean!

Afterwards, head straight to the La Prairie Spa at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills for a 60 minute deep tissue massage, a quick shower and outfit change, and then head upstairs to their rooftop restaurant for brunch! Their restaurant, Rooftop by JG, has the best crudité in LA and stunning views of the Hollywood Hills. It’s always a fun and fabulous experience, perfect for people watching and is Tacko’s favorite! Enjoy a cocktail or two before hitting Rodeo Drive for a day of shopping. It’s a nostalgic experience and some of my favorite stores are Hermes, Gucci and Dior.

Midday/Afternoon

For a quick midday pick-me-up, make sure you grab a coffee or Moon Juice at Alfred’s before heading to Melrose for more shopping! A fun cosmetic experience that I would highly suggest going to is at Glossier on Melrose. Their products are fantastic and who doesn’t love a cool and fun makeup store?

Evening

If you get hungry after your shopping excursions , check out Avra. This place is always packed, especially during awards season. They have such great food,  you can literally order anything off the menu with confidence!

After a busy day of hiking, pampering and shopping, it’s time to head back to the hotel. The best place to stay (and most iconic in my opinion) is at Hotel Bel Air. The piano/lounge bar always has a great scene that has a chill setting with live music daily.
